J Riley Agri are UK agents for Vervaet, the UK’s top selling 17 tonne and 25 tonne 6-row beet harvesters. Whether you are a contractor with many thousands of hectares to harvest for increasingly demanding growers or an independently minded grower, we have the machines to suit your needs. We are proud of our well established and successful relationship with Vervaet, the family owned Dutch manufacturing business whose attention to detail is evident in their product design, and our after sales service and customer support.
Vervaet have always produced tough, innovative and reliable machines whose domination of the UK market has been established over many years. The latest the 17-tonne and 25-tonne Beet Eater models are a common sight across the East of England and wherever quality engineering is recognised.
Probably the most popular beet harvester in the UK, Vervaet’s Beet Eater 617 is also extremely economical to run. An extremely well-tested concept with a 17-tonne tank, the maneuverable harvester combines simplicity and reliability with modern technology and comfort.
The flagship Vervaet Beet Eater 625 harvester offers huge harvesting capacity together with an excellent weight-spreading ability to minimize soil compaction and leave a level field surface. With an extremely high cleaning capacity it is also gentle on the beet.
The new Q-Series is the latest start of the art range of sugar beet harvesters from Vervaet. New from the ground up, the Q-616 is the replacement for the market leading Vervaet 17-tonne six-row tanker harvester concept whilst the Q-621 offers increased capacity and output.
J Riley are also the UK importers for Edenhall sugar beet machinery from Sweden. The company produces an extremely successful range of three- and four-row offset trailed tanker harvesters with rotating walking share or hydraulically driven Oppel wheel lifting systems.
Every season Riley's experienced engineers undertake an extensive refurbishment campaign at the company's purpose built service centre. Customer's existing machines are regularly overhauled in addition to used machines ready for their new owners.
Used machines can be supplied in 'off-farm' condition or fully refurbished with a guarantee on major components. Typically machines have been traded-in after three or four campaigns and, with an established client base, there is a natural ‘roll on’ year on year.
Offering reduced in-field compaction and to eliminate mud being carried onto roads, beet chasers are becoming extremely popular. Rileys offer high-capacity self-propelled machines from Vervaet and trailed options from Edenhall to match modern harvesting systems.
